Study of Collective Instabilities for the High Energy Photon Source

Europe/Zurich
Description
The High Energy Photon Source is a completely new synchrotron light source proposed by IHEP, China. The whole complex includes a 300 MeV LINAC, a booster which can ramp the energy up to 6 GeV, and an ultra-low emittance storage ring (<100 pm). Collective instabilities have to be carefully studied in this new facility. Hereby, I would like to introduce briefly the status of the design and go into some details in the study of collective instabilities. Please contact Dr. Lukas Stingelin for details (5841)
