Description
MAX IV laboratory, which is so far the lowest emittance synchrotron facility in operation, has been inaugurated on June the 21st 2016. On the inauguration day, synchrotron light generated by insertion devices already reached the targets of two beamlines, namely BioMAX and NanoMAX. However, the entire accelerator complex encompasses two storage rings, a short pulse facility, and a linear accelerator with two different electron sources. Additionally, 14 beamlines have been funded so far, and their installation, testing and commissioning overlaps to the one of the machine. This talk aims to give a general overview of the commissioning process of MAX IV, focusing mostly on the interaction between different subsystems. Contact Juraj Krempasky, 5131
