Scientific Program

The plenary session on September 15 will contain invited scientific lectures, information about the PSI user facilities and a special slot for the joint users association JUSAP.  A poster session and the award of the PSI thesis medal will complete the program of the first day.

The program of the topical workshops on Sep 16 can be obtained from the navigation on the left as soon as available.

The following speakers have confirmed their participation and will contribute to the plenary session with keynote and invited lectures:

  • J. Evans, Southampton: In-situ structure function studies of metal catalysts
  • A. Boris, Stuttgart: Control of electron flow and magnetism in atomically thin transition metal oxides
  • P. Donoghue, Bristol: Tomographic insight into the evolutionary assembly of the vertebrate head
  • T. Lancaster, Oxford: Magnetism and superconductivity in the iron-based superconductors LiFeAs and NaFeAs
  • S. Lee, St Andrews: Using SANS to probe the nano-magnetic structure and magnetic reversal of  perpendicular recording media
