Beatenberg is a mountain village lying at 1200 m above sea level and stretching over 6 km along a mountain ridge 600 m above Interlaken.
Interlaken is connected to the nearby airports of Basel-Mulhouse (BSL), Zurich (ZRH), Geneva (GVA), and Frankfurt (FRA) by train. From Interlaken West, Beatenberg can be reached by bus (about half an hour trip, hourly), car or taxi.

If you use a GPS to drive to Beatenberg, please be sure to program your trip via Interlaken, the shorter route through Sigriswil will direct you to a road, which is closed in winter and also not recommended in summer time.

Further details for arrival by train
Arriving by train your destination station is “Interlaken West”.
You may want to check www.sbb.ch or www.db.de to schedule your journey and to order tickets. Enter “Beatenberg, Hubel” as final destination. In addition to single trip or return tickets, there are also other options available, which you can check at http://www.myswitzerland.com/en-us/transport-travel/tickets.html.
 
Interlaken can be reached by train half-hourly from Zürich airport (5:00 to 22:40). The travel lasts about 2:10.

There are excellent train connections from Frankfurt airport (some even direct without change) every hour from 6:00 to 18:53. The travel time amounts to 5 hours.

The public bus to Beatenberg leaves Interlaken hourly at typical a few minutes after the full hour from 7:00 to 22:00 (consult again ww.sbb.ch). Travel time is about half an hour.
