Description
HDF5 (with NeXus) is becoming the standard in many X-ray facilities. HDF5 viewers are needed to allow users to browse and inspect the hierarchical structure of HDF5 files, as well as visualize the datasets inside as basic plots (1D, 2D).
H5Web is a web-based HDF5 viewer developed at the ESRF to fulfill this need. Designed with remote access and modularity in mind, it aims to provide easy access to the data and high interactivity to users with performant WebGL visualisations.
This presentation will demonstrate some of H5Web's features, including NeXus support, and show examples of where it can be used, including in the browser (demo), in JupyterLab, and in Visual Studio Code.
This project has received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation program under grant agreement No. 823852.
