Description
SOLEIL offers with its 29 beamlines a wide energy range (from THz to hard X-ray), a large variety of experimental techniques, and sample environments to its users. SOLEIL’s teams started detail studies for an upgrade of the facility, which will offer new performances for the accelerators increased in brilliance, coherence and flux. These changes will be accompanied by new access modes in the multidisciplinary environment proposed to our Users communities. Toward this upgrade, the information system teams are building continuously the digital transformation required to handle the new operation modes and the increasing data volume. To address the future scientific challenges in an open data perspective, automated and data-driven processes are under development. The poster will depict the information system strategy choose to transform our enterprise architecture and the ongoing tasks among which we can find :

improvement of operational and organizational working approach,

integration of service-oriented technology and cloud,

upgrade of users interface supervision and monitoring technology,

and integration of artificial intelligence for control, maintenance and data reduction and analysis.
