Neutron-photon PSD

Longer tails for neutrons allows differentiation from gammas

Strange waveforms with part below the baseline  >  undershoot of PMT

Different methods attempted, continue with fixed time interval integration

Energy dependence will be studied in 3D histograms

Stella:

Update Curium analysis

Energy + intensity plots versus dR and Q; quite a lot of transition mixing

Muon level-nuclear level mixing

New values for the quadrupole moments  >  Relative shifts have disappeared, but small relative shifts remain

No correlation between quadrupole and charge radius in the fitting process (e-4 precision reached) 

Magnetic moments could be the cause of these relative shifts

 

Nilesh:

Zn/Xe analysis

Working on lineshape and trying to fix parameters of the tail  >  some issues  >  Nilesh will follow up on this

Compton background removal

Closest detector reject coincidence counts  >  How much statistical reduction?  > Nilesh will follow up on this

Microcalorimeters status
