Description

Aim of the school:

RAPTOR School: Loop ENGAGEMENT is the 3rd event in a series of schools specifically designed to train a new generation of entrepreneurial and innovative scientists, who will have a long-term impact on personalized medical physics. The aim is to provide the students with strong interdisciplinary skills, in-depth knowledge and understanding of research questions leading to efficient solutions that can be applied and implemented into a medical/clinical environment. In particular, the 3° RAPTOR school want to create a strong inclusive network of researchers and stakeholders able to act knowledgably in promoting a paradigm shift in the radiation oncology field towards true personalized and real-time adaptive treatment of cancer patients.

The School is preceded by a 4D Workshop at PSI on Saturday 9th September, with a joint session School & 4D Workshop at PSI on Sunday morning 10th September. The main location for the school (from Sunday afternoon to the end) is Centro Congressi Stefano Frascini in Ascona, CH

Please note that registration will close on Sunday, August 13th 2023

The School is supported by the Swiss National Science Foundation under grant IZSEZ0_221470
