The PSI Winter School 2025 has taken place.                                        
Content of the course:

  • Uncertainty & motion
  • Specification, commissioning & Q.A.
  • New directions in proton therapy

Aim of course:

To provide detailed knowledge on the clinical, physics and technological aspects of proton therapy using pencil beam scanning

Target audience:

Radiation oncologists, medical physicists, physicists, engineers, radiation technologists and dosimetrists. No previous knowledge of proton therapy is necessary.

Kindly note that the course is designed for 45 external participants and registration will close when the number of participants has been reached, but latest by: Monday, December 16th, 2024

Accommodation

PSI has reserved hotel rooms from January 12th until 17th, 2025. Participants are not required to make reservations themselves. Refunds for early departure can not be granted.
However, accompanying persons are asked to contact us (winterschool@psi.ch) as the Park-Hotel Bad Zurzach offers a special arrangement to them for CHF 93.-- per night incl. breakfast.

On registration you may confirm this date or indicate if you arrive earlier or depart later. Kindly note that nights booked before or after this date, are for your own expense and you will have to pay these nights directly at the reception of the hotel.
Only the reservation for these extra nights will be done by us on the dates you are indicating during registration.

Price for the course, accommodation and full board: CHF 2'750.--

Skiing day:
