An introduction of the SOLEIL II Project

The presentation attempts to give an overview of the ongoing SOLEIL II Project, which upgrades the currently running SOLEIL ring, a 3^rd generation light source which is in operation since 2007, to deliver an ultra-low-emittance beam of 80 pm*rad at 2.75 GeV. As the presenter works on the machine physics part of the project, the reporting shall be made from the viewpoint of the new magnet lattice concept developed and associated beam dynamics studies.
