 age!\n"Operando" refers to the characterization of functional materials un
 der reaction conditions\, with simultaneous measurement of their performan
 ce. PSI has many groups at the forefront of using and developing operando 
 methods in various fields of chemistry. This is evident in the Center for 
 Operando Spectroscopy Studies (COSS).\nWe cordially invite you to the seco
 nd annual PSI Operando Day. PhD students and postdoctoral fellows from var
 ious groups will present their state-of-the-art research using operando me
 thods\, offering a glimpse into the diverse activities at PSI.\nWe are ple
 ased to welcome a renowned speaker: Prof. Elena Groppo from the University
  of Turin. She primarily focuses on catalysis and spectroscopy\, making si
 gnificant contributions to our understanding of the mechanisms and propert
 ies of catalytic systems at the molecular level. Her work encompasses vari
 ous techniques\, notably IR spectroscopy\, XAS\, and neutron scattering.\n
 In addition to the talks\, we will be hosting a poster session where parti
 cipants can present their research and engage in discussions with other at
 tendees. This session will provide an excellent opportunity for networking
  as well as exchanging ideas in a more interactive setting and the best po
 ster wins a prize.\nJoin us as we explore the pivotal role of operando res
 earch in shaping the future of energy materials. We look forward to your p
