Eighth SwissFEL Performance Workshop

This is the eighth SwissFEL Performance Workshop to coordinate activities between machine and photon science for the upcoming year. 
Workshop objectives:

• Review of beam dynamics progress (status of operation modes)
• Review of experiment progress and requirements
• Operations and scheduling
• Status and plans of key systems (accelerator and photon beam instrumentation)
• Discussion on topics of common interest

How to get to FiBL?

Parking is limited on site, so we strongly recommend to come by train, or at least form car sharing communities. Since the institute is a bit outside of Frick, we will have a shuttle bus from the train station. The shuttle bus will be timed to SBB arrivals at 8:17 and 8:53 (trains from Zurich/Baden/Brugg). Alternatively, you can walk from the train station (about 25 minutes), or you can take a public bus to the station "Oeschgen Hinterdorf" (from there about 10 minutes walk). Welcome coffee at the institute will be served between 8:30 and 9:10. We start with the actual agenda items at 9:15 (to allow for arrivals with the later train). In the late afternoon, we should wrap up sometime after 17:00 such that the shuttle bus can take us back to the train station to catch the 17:41 train direction Brugg/Baden/Zurich.
