DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Keita Omiya (PSI)\n\nQuantum many-body scars (QMBS)
represent a subtle form of ergodicity breaking that is commonly attributed
to the existence of anomalous eigenstates. Due to their delicate underlyi
ng algebraic structure\, the common expectation is that (i) QMBS cannot in
fluence the system's long-time behavior and (ii) they cannot survive gener
ic perturbations. In this presentation\, I argue that QMBS can emerge as a
stable non-equilibrium phase in non-Hermitian dynamics\, which is similar
to the entanglement transition induced by the non-Hermitian skin effect.
 Specifically\, I analyze a simple SU(N) spin model supporting QMBS\, and s
how that the system undergoes a sharp first-order-like dynamical phase tra
nsition separating the thermal phase and a "scar-dominating" phase as a no
 n-Hermitian control parameter is varied.\n \nReference: arxiv:2507.22583
