We welcome you to join the Forum where FEL scientists, scientific users and beamline developers are encouraged to discuss how the FEL, FEL technology and FEL science can develop together. The focus is on special features of the FEL source and how they can be developed together with the application.
The one and a half day “Forum on Advanced FEL Techniques”, aiming to bring together FEL experts and FEL users, is taking place at the end of the main conference, from 24-25 September 2026. For people registered to the Science@FELs conference, the Forum participation is for free. If you plan to attend the Forum only, please indicate in the registration. Price for Forum only is 150 €.
This years’ forum follow in a series, where the most recent was held in Paris 2024.
During the Forum there will also be a poster session focused on FEL science and technology, novel use of FEL pulses, novel FEL-user concepts. We encourage young scientist and novel ideas.

Poster session note:
Poster stands will be available from Wednesday 23/9 through Friday 25/9. We encourage participants to the Forum to mount their posters already on Wednesday for more interaction in parallel with the main Science@FEL conference.
A few slots will be available for Forum oral presentations on Friday 25.9. Please indicate on your poster abstract, if you want to be considered for this opportunity.
