 ear Colleagues and Friends\,\nIt is a great pleasure to invite you to the 
 58th Annual Meeting of the Swiss Society of Radiobiology and Medical Physi
 cs (SSRMP)\, held in the historic and vibrant city of St. Gallen on Novemb
 er 5th and 6th\, 2026.\nFollowing our society’s long-standing tradition 
 - from our founding in Geneva in 1964 to our most recent gatherings at CER
 N and in Lucerne in the heart of Switzerland - we continue to evolve. Our 
 field has seen a remarkable shift: new generations of medical physicists a
 re stepping forward\, and our focus has expanded from the fundamentals of 
 radiation protection to cutting-edge research in patient care and interdis
 ciplinary clinical practice.\nSt. Gallen\, famous for its UNESCO World Her
 itage Abbey District and its history as a center of textile and knowledge\
 , provides the perfect backdrop for our meeting. The city also shares a un
 ique bond with our profession: in 1897\, the first X-ray institute in Swit
 zerland was opened here in collaboration with Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen. We 
 aim to bridge the gap between tradition and innovation\, bringing together
  experts in medical physics\, radiobiology\, and radiation protection.\nSc
 ientific Exchange & Networking An engaging scientific program is only poss
 ible through your contributions. We look forward to a diverse range of abs
 tracts reflecting the high level of research and clinical investigation cu
 rrently thriving in Switzerland.\nAs always\, our industrial partners will
  accompany us throughout the meeting. We encourage you to use the breaks i
 n our exhibition area for lively discussions\, fostering the collaboration
  that is essential for the technical advancement of our discipline.\nCultu
 ral & Social Highlights To complement the scientific program\, we have arr
 anged a special opportunity to visit the world-famous Abbey Library (Stift
 sbibliothek). The Social Event at Restaurant Seeger is located in the hea
 rt of the city - this traditional venue offers the ideal atmosphere for a 
 relaxed evening of dinner and networking with friends and colleagues.\nThe
  SSRMP General Assembly (GA) will take place on November 5\, 2026\, at 16:
 30.Admission to the General Assembly is open to all members free of charge
  and does not require conference registration.\nWe look forward to seeing
