Quick update on the schedule, tasks, risks, and news concerning the off_line TATTOOS lab.
1. Civil Works & Room Preparation (Phase 0)
3D Scan: Discrepancies found between the existing CATIA drawing and R. House's drawing. A 3D scan will be performed. Timeline: 3 weeks from now. Scan complete by ~23 June 2026. A reconciled drawing will be ready by 21 June 2026.
Workshop after 21 June: Once the drawing is ready, a workshop will be held with all services to define routing of pipes, cooling lines, and utilities in the room.
Area clearance: the OLT area will be cleared. Nils has promised a storage area. If confirmed, Tobias is no longer needed for this. Existing services: Services already exist in the room. Everything will be removed unless the TATTOOS team explicitly requests to keep specific items. Action: walk-through of the room required to identify what to retain.
Readiness deadline: All preparatory work must be complete by 29 June 2026 to allow contractors to proceed.
2. Water Cooling — Target Discussion between S. Warren and Müller on water cooling of the target.
3. HV Room Discussion scheduled to follow the water cooling topic.4. Vacuum J. Cruikshank reported on vacuum, no concerns at this stage.
5. Ion Beamline — Controls & Interlocks S. Warren briefed to Pablo on the full ion beamline plan. Interlocks for the ion beamline to be implemented with dry contacts if possible. Support required from the electronics group.
6. Resources Resource constraint flagged: too many tasks for the available people.
7. UPDATE COSTS: NO RED-FLAG INDICATED BY DANIEL KISELEV AND ROBERT EICHLER INTO COSTS PER PHASE.
