DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Bud Macaulay (PSI)\n\nAs Materials Cloud has matured
  over the years\, this talk will highlight the overarching vision of the p
 latform. In particular\, it will provide an overview of the platform's key
  sections\, the tasks they are intended to support\, and their role in adv
 ancing FAIR and Open Science principles.\nThe presentation will also focus
  on our flagship dataset\, MC3D\, providing a high-level overview of the t
 echniques and infrastructure that underpin the platform and enable both pr
 ogrammatic and web-based access to gigabytes of scientific data.\nThe talk
  will conclude with a discussion of the outstanding challenges facing the 
 platform\, as well as the anticipated difficulties and opportunities invol
