Description

Proxima Fusion is a European company developing fusion power plants. The company is developing high-temperature superconducting magnets for its stellarators in collaboration with the Paul Scherrer Institut (PSI). This colloquium will present Proxima Fusion’s technology roadmap and PSI’s HTS research activities in the CHART Programme, as well as summarize key engineering challenges and milestones in their collaboration.
