Dispersive approach to the g-2 and analysis of $\gamma^*\gamma^*\gamma\rightarrow\pi\pi$ 30m

Even in light of the extraordinary achievement of 124 parts per billion precision for the muon $g-2$ measurement accomplished on the experimental world average value, the precision of the theoretical predictions coming from lattice QCD and the dispersive approach are still striving for that target. The tensions among data-driven dispersive evaluations are still an open problem, with the uncertainties heavily dominated by the hadronic contributions, i.e. hadronic vacuum polarization (HVP) and hadronic light-by-light (HLbL) scattering. In this talk, a brief overview of the data-driven dispersive approach to the $a_\mu$ is discussed with particular focus on the HLbL term within the triangle kinematics scheme and updates from current work on the dispersive analysis for the $\gamma^*\gamma^*\gamma\rightarrow\pi\pi$ process.
