2nd CHIPP Workshop on Detector R&D

Europe/Zurich
Malte Hildebrandt (Paul Scherrer Institut)
Description
The CHIPP workshop focuses on detector R&D which is ongoing and planned at Swiss institutes. We intend to bring together people who are working in the lab to share experiences and to find possible synergies. The workshop will start on Thursday, 12th September, in the afternoon. Several talks on detector technologies are scheduled for the afternoon session which will be a combined session with the workshop "Physics of fundamental Symmetries and Interactions - PSI2013". On Friday, 13th September, the CHIPP workshop will concentrate on Swiss activities in detector R&D work, in particular for detectors in high energy, low energy precission, neutrino, astroparticle and space-based experiments.
