Description
Relevant low-energy phenomena in condensed matter physics are related to a complex interaction among Charge, Spin, and Lattice degrees of freedom.
In this talk I will present examples of exotic low-energy electrodynamics in Strongly-Correlated Materials, Superconductors and Topological Insulators that have been investigated through infrared and terahertz frequency-resolved spectroscopy with conventional and synchrotron based sources.
Moreover, I will discuss some possible time-resolved experiments on the same systems which could be performed by an intense terahertz and infrared sub-ps source.
