> Updates
-
The first sample from FEMTOprint has being delivered.
- From their measurements, excluding the first two pillars that are shifted in y by ~300 um, the other parts are within a micron from design.
-
Rasmus reports:
- A steering committee for ACHIP took place.
- The steering was updated on the progress of the project (Erlangen report) and was informed concerning the budget for the main chamber.
- A possibility to apply for a REQUIP proposal for obtaining further funds for the chamber. We should look for other groups interested in performing experiments inside, like e.g. micromagnetic structures and electron scattering with biological samples.
- Next ACHIP collaboration meeting will be held in PSI from 1st to 3 March 2017. A meeting is scheduled Tomorrow (Tuesday 4).
-
Plan:

See the presentation.
Remarks:
- full height of the permanent magnet quadupoles is 150 mm
- Poynting and arrival time stability for the laser needs to be investigated
- It can be useful to consider also two photon processes for diagnosing the transverse laser profile at 2 um
