Description

SCCER Heat and Electricity Storage HSR
The large volume of electricity production capacities from fluctuating sources wind and solar installed in the recent years is the first step towards a CO2 and nuclear waste free energy future. Nevertheless, to transform this vision  to reality, a second step, the large scale energy storage has to be taken.
In light of this context, we would like to invite you to:

The SCCER Heat and Electricity Storage
7th Symposium

The day covers the range of energy storage in general, presented by experts from academia and industry with sessions on:
- Heat storage.
- Battery technology.
- Hydrogen production and storage.
- Catalytical and electrocatalytical CO2 reduction. - Assessment of Storage Systems.

Our confirmed speakers are:
Dr. Paul Gantenbein, SPF/HSR, CH
Dr. Giorgio Crugnola, FZ Sonnic, CH
Dr. Corsin  Battaglia, Empa, CH
Dr. Nordahl Autissier, GRT, CH
Dr. Gabor Laurenczy, EPFL, CH
Dr. Kerry-Ann Adamson, Jacobs Consultancy, UK
Dr. Alexandra Patru, PSI, CH
Dr. Tom Kober, PS, CH
Ms. Sandra Moebus, HSR, CH
Dr. Luiz Carlos Reichenbach de Sousa
Dr. Enrique Troncoso, Systeng Consulting, UK
Mr. Klaus Borrman, PECEM, D

We hope you find the topics attractive and would like to welcome you on November 6, 2018, at the Hochschule Rapperswil for discussions, sharing viewpoints or simply updating your state of knowledge.
Currently we are working on the detailed program, which will be available by September 2018.

The event will be free of charge, but you need to register by October 22, 2018.
