Dear PSI2019 participant,

 

Next week the PSI2019 workshop will take place

at the Paul Scherrer Institute, Villigen, Switzerland.

 

Please note belows final informations:

Very important:

In case you have booked a room at the Hotel Boettstein close to PSI,

note that it is closed now by law and contact us at

psi2019@psi.ch immediately for support.

Travel to PSI:

Special buses from the Hotels in Baden will leave every morning

and return after the last session.

 

Hotel Ibis:  Bus leaves 8:05 in front of the hotel

 

Hotel Linde:  Bus leaves outside the hotel, on the opposite side of the road

It will leave 8:05 sharp as it cannot wait long at this stop,

therefore we ask you to be at the bus stop at 8:00

 

Baden Train Station:

Bus will leave at bus stop at 8:07

 

For bus stops see attached map drawings below.

 

Note that public transport to PSI is easy:

 

From the train-station in Baden you can

take a train to 'Siggenthal-Würenlingen' (direction Bad Zurzach / Waldshut)

and  then the direct bus #357 to PSI  

(runs every 30 minutes, takes 21 minutes, CHF 4.00 one way)

If you have not paid your registration fee,

please bring the exact amount in cash

to the registration desk.

We accept only Swiss Francs (CHF).

Credit cards cannot be accepted.

In case you come by car to PSI, please note,

that a parking fee applies at the PSI parking lot.

Parking tickets for the entire week will be

available at the registration desk. Costs: CHF 10,-

You will need this in order to be able to

participate in the poster voting and to

upload your contribution.

Note that the Welcome reception on Sunday evening

17:30 - 19:30

will take place at Hotel Linde in Baden.

All contributors are kindly asked to provide their contributions

at latest one session before the talk.

 

Oral presentations:

Check the timetable for your presentation time.

Please upload your talk on the workshop INDICO website at latest

during the session before your talk.

 

upload guideline:

- go to  https://indico.psi.ch/event/6857/

- please login using your INDICO credentials

- click on “My contributions”

- find your contribution and click on “View” at the right side

- clock on “Edit files”

- click on “Add Material”

- click on “Choose File”

- select your file

- upload your file

- Select “Private” (red) if your slides should NOT be seen by others

- Select “Public” (green) if your slides can be seen by others

- Click “Create Resource”

 

Only in urgent cases provide your talk with a USB stick

to the workshop staff.

 

The use of your own computer for presentation will not be possible.

 

Posters:

Please hand in your poster the latest on Monday  12:00

to the registration desk and do not attach it yourself.

Posters will be attached by our staff.

 

You should also upload your poster as pdf to INDICO following

the upload guidelines above.
