Description

From semiconductors to quantum technologies

While information technology the last 50 years was based on conventional semiconductor electronics, future technologies – aiming to enhance the performance of computers, sensors etc. and to secure data communication for the future internet - will us the quantum origin of nature, which can be realized in many typ of materials.

Here we like to highlight the opportunities for the traditional semiconductor materials to remain the ground on which also the new technology concepts will relay on.
