Material and Component Development for Thermal Energy Storage Annex 33 |
The large volume of electricity production capacities from the fluctuating sources wind and solar, installed in recent years is the first step towards a CO2 and nuclear waste free energy future. Nevertheless, to transform this vision to reality, a strong focus needs to be set on storage for the sake of grid stability and independence.
In light of this context, the SCCER Heat- and Electricity Storage and the IEA Technology Collaboration Programme (TCP), Material and Component Development for Thermal Energy Storage, Annex 33 would like to invite you to our Symposium.
We proudly announce the confirmation of the following speakers:
The program of the morning session covers the aspects of heat storage and is closely linked with IEA TCP, Annex 33. In the afternoon, the focus is set on storage of hydrogen, conversion of CO2 as well as on batteries.
The highlight at the end of the day is the variety of excursions we are able of offer. You are free to choose between four options: a tour through NEST, the Energy Hub Demonstrator , move, and on the topic of Urban Mining.
The participation is free of charge, but the registration till October 22, 2019 is mandatory. The conference language is English.
Poster presentations are very welcome; please submit your abstract here by latest October 22, 2019.
