This is the second SwissFEL Performance Workshop to coordinate activities between machine and photonics for the upcoming year.


Goals of the workshop:

  • Fix overall schedule for 2020: repetition rates (roadmap towards 100 Hz), photon beam requirements (pulse duration, pulse energy, bandwidth), Athos commissioning in parallel
  • System developments.
  • Controls and DAQ issues.
  • Machine stability - current limitations
