Upgrade Strategy and Development Status of Accelerator System at SPring-8/SACLA

We have two user machines, SPring-8 and SACLA in our campus and a single accelerator team takes care of both operations and upgrades. We intentionally shift the renewal timing of these two machines by ~15 years so that the single team can complete the mission well with a good technological feedback and experience accumulation. In this framework, we have been performing a variety of system developments. This talk will present our upgrade strategy, the current status of our upgrade and an overview of the system developments at SPring-8/SACLA.
