Excillum Based in Stockholm, Sweden, Excillum makes the world's brightest microfocus x-ray tubes, the MetalJet tubes. The MetalJet x-ray tubes are conventional microfocus tubes with the solid-metal anode replaced by a liquid-metal jet. A metal-jet anode is continuously regenerated and already in the molten stage. Thereby, the classical power limit of an x-ray source, when the anode is permanently damaged by the electron beam, no longer applies. Please come by our booth to discuss our technology in more detail!

Wilhelm and Else Heraeus Foundation
Wilhelm and Else Heraeus Foundation Young generation scientists are one of the main target groups the activities of the Wilhelm und Else Heraeus Foundation are addressed to. Therefore, in 1989, the foundation together with the DPG established a program that gives young physicists in an early period of their scientific career (Master, Diplom or PhD thesis) the opportunity to present their own scientific results to a censorious audience.
Within this programme the active participation at EPS and IUPAP conferences is financially supported.
You will find more information and as well the application form on the DPG website: http://www.dpg-physik.de/programme/heraeus/internationale-tagungen-heraeus.html?lang=en&
The organizers want to thank the EPS, the Wilhelm and Else Heraeus Foundation, Hanau and DPG e.V., Bad Honnef.
Deutsche Physikalische Gesellschaft e.V.
Deutsche Physikalische Gesellschaft e.V. The Deutsche Physikalische Gesellschaft e. V. (DPG - German Physical Society) is available for everyone: it doesn’t matter whether they are students, professors, pupils, teachers, people working in industry or simply people who are interested in physics. DPG regards itself as the mouthpiece of physics and a contact for people interested in physics. As a non-profit association, it does not pursue any financial interests. In DPG up-and-coming scientists meet Nobel Prize laureates, interested persons meet experts and young and old come together. Together they are united to form the world’s biggest specialist physical community. DPG cooperates particularly closely with the Wilhelm und Else Heraeus Foundation.
The DPG exclusively and directly serves the fields of pure and applied physics, bringing its members and all physicists living in Germany closer together, representing their entirety outwards as well as fostering the exchange of ideas between its members and foreign colleagues. The DPG seeks to achieve these goals particularly by: annual meetings, spring meetings and section conferences, scientific meetings (among others at the "Physikzentrum" Bad Honnef and "Magnus-Haus" in Berlin), publishing activities, honours, awards, cultivation of relationships to national and international associations sharing the same or related ambitions, participation in international associations and by advisory service on matters of research promotion, education and career.
