SCCER Heat and Electricity Storage Hochschule Luzern – Technik & Architektur
The large volume of electricity production capacities from the fluctuating sources wind and solar, installed in recent years is the first step towards a CO2 and nuclear waste free energy future. Nevertheless, to transform this vision  to reality, a strong focus needs to be set on storage for the sake of grid stability and independence.
In light of this context, we would like to invite you to

The SCCER Heat and Electricity Storage
4th Symposium

The first half  of the day covers the range of energy storage in the context of future needs in terms of legislation and capacity.
The second half is dedicated to the scientific aspects of the Competence Center and the results achieved during the fist period 2014-2016.
This section is  presented by experts from the competence center with  sessions on:
                 - Battery technology.
                 - Heat storage.
                 - Catalytical and electrocatalytical CO2 reduction.
                 - Hydrogen storage.
We hope you find the program attractive and would like to welcome you on October 24, 2016, at the University of Applied Science Luzern for discussions, sharing viewpoints or simply updating your state of knowledge.
