DEFINITIONS

These Terms and Conditions apply to every person registering as a regular or student delegate for the State of the Art Workshop Procedures currently applied to the integrity assessment of RPVs subjected to PTS loading, to be held at PSI institute, Switzerland from March 30 - 31, 2022.

All references to a date or a deadline, mentioned in these terms and on other conference documents, refer to the Central European Time Zone (CET).

LIABILITY

The event organisers will not be responsible and cannot be held liable for any loss or damage of personal property, accidents etc. that may occur during or as result of attending the State of the Art Workshop. Attendees are responsible for any losses or damage they cause to personal property and to the event and accommodation premises during their attendance at the State of the Art Workshop and must indemnify the event organisers for any cost arising to them due to such losses and/or damage.

PRIVACY

By completing and submitting your registration details, you agree for your personal information to be passed on to the State of the Art Workshop Organising Committee for workshop-related purposes. Unless you contact the Local Organising Committee directly to request otherwise, you provide permission to the organisers to make your name and affiliation available to workshop delegates. Based on the contact details you provide, you will also receive workshop-related communication including electronic newsletters from organisers, from which you can unsubscribe at any time. Your personal details will also be used to prepare nametags.

LETTER OF INVITATION

Individuals requiring an official Letter of Invitation from the Workshop organisers can request one through the online registration form. To receive a Letter of Invitation, delegates must first register to the workshop and submit any necessary data, as stated on the online form.

The Letter of Invitation does not financially obligate the workshop organisers in any way. All expenses incurred in relation to the workshop and the attendance are the sole responsibility of the delegate.

VISA REQUIREMENTS

It is the sole responsibility of the delegate to take care of his/her visa requirements. Delegates who require an entry visa must allow sufficient time for the application procedure. Delegates should contact the nearest Swiss embassy or consulate to determine the appropriate timing of their visa applications.

DATA PROTECTION AND DATA SECURITY

The parties undertake to comply with the provisions of Swiss data protection legislation and to effectively protect data arising in the framework of contract performance against unauthorised access by third parties.

APPLICABLE LAW AND PLACE OF JURISDICTION

These Terms and Conditions as well as any contractual or non-contractual obligation are governed by the laws of Switzerland, excluding the conflict of laws rules in force.

Any dispute shall be finally settled in accordance with the ordinary courts of Aarau, Switzerland. Notwithstanding the preceding provision, the conference organiser is entitled to apply for interim measures at any competent court having jurisdiction.
