COVID-19
Under the current rules applicable at the moment until Jan 1, 2022, a valid certificate (vaccinated, recovered, or tested) is required to attend the conference. At the moment, it is unclear whether this regulation will be extended. In the conference venue, therefore, the wearing of masks is not compulsory.

The 38th Swiss Electrochemistry Symposium will be held in the Culture and Congress House in Aarau, which is the capital of the canton of Aargau / Argovia and beautifully located in northern Switzerland between the cities Zürich and Basel.

Travel by plane
We recommend to fly either to Zurich Airport or EuroAirport Basel Mulhouse Freiburg from where Aarau can easily be reached. From Zurich Airport there are trains to Aarau (change trains in Zürich HB), from EuroAirport Basel Mulhouse Freiburg there is a shuttle bus to Basel railway station every 10 minutes, from where direct trains go to Aarau. EuroAiport is located in France, in the tri-national Upper Rhine Region, i.e. very near to Switzerland and to Germany.
Travel by train
Check out www.sbb.ch for train connections to Aarau. From Aarau train station (Bahnhof SBB), it is a 10 min walk to the conference venue (KUK).
Arrival by car
Motorway A1 (exit Aarau-Ost or -West) or E60 (exit Frick/Aarau) with recommended parking in Kettenbrücke, Kasino or Kasernen parking houses (there is a fee).
