PSD Snow Day 2023 in Arosa

Dear colleagues,

The PSD Snow Day will take place on Friday, 10 March 2023 in Arosa Lenzerheide, a snow-safe snow sports region with 225km groomed slopes on up to 2865m above sea level.

In case of bad weather, the alternative date will be Friday, 17 March 2023.

Meeting Point in Arosa
Valley Station of the Weisshornbahn

The SBB train station and the Talstation Weisshornbahn are connected and the Meeting Point can easily be reached on foot. If you arrive by car, the most convenient parking space is called Ochsenbühl, it's also within walking distance.

Dinner - Tschuggenhütte
After enjoying a day in the snow, we will have a short apéro, followed by a traditional fondue dinner. You are cordially invited to take part, PSI will cover the costs for the apéro and dinner. Please be aware that any additional drinks will be at your own expense.

The apéro will start at 16:30h, dinner at 17:15h. Please note that the Tschuggenhütte is located halfway up the mountain and the last trip up to the middle gondola station (Mittelstation) leaves the valley at 16:30. After that, you will not be able to ascend to the restaurant.

The Restaurant Tschuggenhütte can be reached from the middle gondola station of the Weisshornbahn via a relatively flat hiking trail in about 15 minutes.

Skiers/Snowboarders can leave their equipment at the middle gondola station and walk to the Tschuggenhütte or ski directly to the Tschuggenhütte. However, skiing down to the valley after dinner is not possible. At 19:15 we will all walk back to the gondola station and at 19:35 we will enjoy a private gondola trip back down to the valley. This will allow public transport users to catch the 19:49 train back to Zurich/Baden.
