Description

The 4th generation synchrotron light source PETRA IV is the next major project at DESY. After an introduction of the PETRA IV project, this talk will focus on the planned new booster synchrotron DESY IV.

Special attention is paid to the advantages and disadvantages of its installation in an existing infrastructure.
