Michael:
Fitting with hypermet
Step function kept going to zero --> Fit without for now --> Suggestion Frederik, it might be a signal to noise thing, try fitting with step-to-peak ratio fixed
Chebychev linear slope is tricky to determine
Translation from regular slope a1 to chebychev slope c1: c1 = (a1/2) * (xmax - xmin) * (Nbins/Integral background)
Combined fitting: sigma as a function of energy, ratio of tail to gaussian, and ratio of beta to sigma
Make regular TH1F histograms of everything
For initial parameters of sigma, fit with regular gaussians and evaluate sigma(E) = a + b*sqrt(E) + c*E
Which lines to use (identify with high resolution of Ge03): 356 keV from Ba-133 has 352 keV from Pb-214 nearby, and 764 keV from Ag-110m has a small second peak which could mess with the fitting
Publication 2022 data: chemistry part is done, only surface sputter targets remaining --> Andreas will follow up on this
Marie:
Working on feasibility irradiation of stable Ag-107 at BR2 (production of Ag-108m)
Geant4 simulations: Got most detectors in there. Still need to make miniball work and get drawings from TUM and JINR
Andreas:
MIXE meeting
Improvements on setup: Direct coupling of LN2 from the wall; Cabling (no need to unplug everything); Slow filling of LN2; DAQ overheating issues
Detectors from Leuven at MIXE: Most likely 70% and 75% will get there. Refurbishing of 90% detector probably not in time for June, but ok for September?, clovers won't be in time for this years campaign
National competence centers grant application: Mainly for charge radii and beta NMR. reach out to Heidelberg and Magda Kowalska to see if they would be interested
Thomas:
Grant request for large equipment, what to put in there?
Andreas --> smaller things could be useful to have: HV mainframe + 64 channels; Digitizers; Dedicated preamp box (CAEN makes some); Pumping adapters; Our own baking equipment
