Travel Information

The PIONEER collaboration meeting will be at the University of Washington in Seattle (WA). More specifically we will will host the meeting at CENPA (Center for Experimental Nuclear Physics and Astrophysics) which is at 4311 Mason Pl NE, Seattle, WA 98195 (North-East corner of Campus, right next to University village.

Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (Seatac, SEA) is the main airport located in the south of the city. Public transportation 1-Line light-rail takes about 45 minutes (15 stops) from the airport to the U District station.

Another option for people arriving from thge Westcoast is to fly to Painefield (PAE) in Everett, north of the city. But only Alaska Airlines flies there from Anchorage, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Orange County (John Wayne), Palm Springs (seasonal), Phoenix, San Diego, San Francisco, and Tucson (seasonal) and there is no public transportation available to get into Seattle.

Seattle is served by Amtrak if you plan to arrive by Train from Vancouver or other destinations.
