  MEG II Experiment; to Search for Lepton Flavor Violation (μ→eγ) 20m
  
  After the discovery of neutral lepton flavor violation by Super Kamiokande, it is strongly suggested that lepton flavor number conservation is also violated in the charged sector. For the search of charged lepton flavor violation, the MEG II experiment's detectors were optimized to discover the decay mu->eγ. The liquid xenon (LXe) calorimeter is used to detect high-energetic photons. Since the start of the MEG II experiment in 2021, radiation damage of silicon photomultipliers in LXe has been observed, but the cause is not clear until now. Also, in 2024, a leak in the LXe calorimeter has been found. In this presentation, I will introduce the MEG II experiment, and my studies on the radiation damage and the xenon leak.
