Andreas:
What to do next year?
No muX proposal
RefRadii: La? Th?
If La, we need to show we can do the implanted target
6129 keV origin
0.5 keV shift in values in literature
new values are wrong: Recoil versus transition
Narongrit:
Updated geometry for scintillators
Coating grid with PE does not help
Absolute best --> Entrance detector into the gas cell --> Andreas: not really reasonable for highly radioactive targets.
G4beamline simulations for the muX set-up in which he investigated a new (though non-realistic) scintillator design.
Looked at veto cutted spectra for Old scintillator - Carbon grid, Old scintillator - Ti grid, New scintillator - Carbon grid.
Investigated events responsible for high energy gammas.
General conclusions: Entrance detector in the gas cell would be better and Area between entrance and going into the gas cell should be made out of active material --> Make more of the area active, but we should be careful where, so that these pieces do not get contaminated if we run with radio-active
Marie:
Load in geometry via json
Simulation of the array from last year: in progress
Compatibility with new cluster
Scintillator design --> Some basic updates
Timing optimized Ge detectors for Si data
Anticoincidence window + gain drift
There are minutes attached to this event.
Show them.
