Cordially invites you to the 2^nd annual conference of the SWEET-reFuel.ch consortium!

 

To comply with the timeline of Swiss net-zero targets, our mission is to promote an accelerated market development of sustainable fuels and platform chemicals. While first-generation technologies are close to being available to initiate a ramp-up of the production of those substances, this is less the case for policies, laws, regulations, and markets, which still have to demonstrate their effectiveness, the policies, laws, regulations, and markets (non-technical aspects) are not available. The second-generation technology, aiming at efficient and cost-optimized production, is currently at a lab scale.

To foster the necessary exchange, reFuel.ch would like to invite you to its second annual conference, bringing together experts on Power-t-X and manure-based Sustainable Aviation Fuels to discuss implementation options in Switzerland and abroad.

 

Our keynote speaker Patricia Thornley will present her current work on European biofuel potential and land-use implications – a timely topic as reFuel considers broadening its scope to international resources. Our second keynote, given by Christian Moretti on non-CO₂ effects in aviation is in preparation.

The conference's language is English. Participation is free of charge, but registration until September 8, 2025 is mandatory. 

Poster presentations are very welcome!
