Description
At the Technical University of Munich (TUM) - FRM II, a source for ultracold neutrons (UCN) is currently under construction, and a dedicated user program is under development. This poster provides an overview of the current status of the source and the ongoing scientific activities in the field of ultracold neutron physics at TUM. Furthermore, my PhD research focuses on new neutronic simulations of the UCN source and upcoming experiments on ultrananocrystalline diamond (UNCD), which represents a promising material for UCN applications.
