Aim of course:
To provide detailed knowledge on the clinical, physics and technological aspects of proton therapy using pencil beam scanning

Target audience:
Radiation oncologists, medical physicists, physicists, engineers, radiation technologists and dosimetrists. No previous knowledge of proton therapy is necessary.

Important:
Kindly note that the course is designed for 45 external participants and registration will close when the number of participants has been reached, but latest by: Sunday, January 3rd, 2027

Accommodation

PSI has reserved hotel rooms from January 17th until January 22th, 2027. Participants are not required to make reservations themselves. Refunds for early departure can not be granted.
However, accompanying persons are asked to contact us (winterschool@psi.ch). Dorint Parkhotel Bad Zurzach takes for breakfast and city tax the amount of CHF 23.— for an additional person staying in the room with a participant.

On registration you may confirm the dates or indicate if you arrive earlier or depart later. Kindly note that nights booked before January 17th or after January 22nd, 2027, are for your own expense.
An additional night is at CHF 163.-- per night including breakfast and Citytax for one person.

Only the reservation for these extra nights will be done by us on the dates you are indicating during registration, payment for these extra nights have to be done by you directly at the reception at Dorint Parkhotel Bad Zurzach.

 

Price for the course, with accommodation and full board: CHF 2'750.--
Price for the course, without accommodation but with lunch, coffee breaks & social event: CHF 1'800.—

Full board accommodation, including:

Skiing day:
CHF 300.-- including transportation to the skiing destination, skipass, skirental and lunch.
Kindly note that you only register for the skiing day if you know how to ski - unless you are prepared to pay extra for private lessons due to insurance issues.
