Scholarship Application

Are you an early-stage researcher eager to attend the 2nd UPLIFT School for "Artificial Intelligence in Radiotherapy" (November 1–7, 2026, at Monte Verita, Switzerland)?

We are offering three scholarships to support promising scientists in joining this premier event, which includes conference fees, travel costs, and on-site accommodation. 

The deadline for the application will be Sep 9th, 2026

Eligibility

To apply, you must be an Early-Stage Researcher (ESR). For this scholarship, an ESR is defined as a student or researcher who has defended their PhD within the past 2 years by the application deadline.

Application Requirements

To be considered for the travel scholarship, please prepare and submit the following materials:

  • Short CV: Provide a brief overview of your academic background, research experience, and relevant publications or presentations. (max. 2 pages)

  • Scientific Abstract: Submit an abstract of your latest research to be considered for our open scientific oral presentations or interactive poster sessions.

  • Motivation Letter: Provide a concise letter explaining your specific interest in attending the School. You should clearly articulate how participating in the technical sessions, networking events, and the AI4PT|RT symposium will directly benefit your current work and advance your future career trajectory. (max. 300 words)
