QENS/WINS 2027 brings together two long-standing international scientific communities for the 17th Conference on Quasielastic Neutron Scattering (QENS) and the 12th Workshop on Inelastic Neutron Spectrometers (WINS). Building on a rich history of scientific exchange and collaboration, the 2027 edition introduces inelastic neutron scattering science as a third pillar, completing the scientific scope of the event and creating new opportunities for interdisciplinary dialogue.
The scientific programme will combine joint morning sessions featuring invited speakers with specialized parallel sessions in the afternoons, encouraging exchange across communities while providing space for in-depth discussions. Particular emphasis will be placed on engaging and supporting early-career scientists, sharing the latest scientific advances and instrumental developments.
Extended breaks, dedicated poster sessions, and topical discussions will provide ample opportunities for informal exchange, networking, brainstorming, strengthening connections, starting new collaborations, and shaping the future of the neutron scattering community.
