Description
The present discrepancy concerning the proton radius values extracted
from hydrogen spectroscopy, scattering experiments and muonic hydrogen
is discussed. Recent arguments about proton shape and new scattering
data are presented. In addition we will conclude proposing a new
experiment which could help to understand the discrepancy: the Lamb shift
in muonic helium.
