Status of the Diamond Control System and Beamline Computing

This talk will give an introduction to Diamond and describe the current status of the systems managed by the Diamond Controls group. In addition to all aspects of Diamond control systems, the group is also responsible for Beamline computing systems, Personnel Safety Systems, and Equipment protection systems. The current solutions and future directions of the group will be described, focussing primarily on beamline computing and control.
