Main part of the training event is the 2 day course on Wednesday and Thursday in CV writing and interview skills given by Andrea Kennedy and Jackie Smith from the company iOpener, Oxford.

Spinn-off fields of particle physics
To give the MC-PAD researchers an idea of possible working fields outside particle physics it is planned to visit two PSI facilities for more aplied research: The synchrotron light source (SLS) and the proton therapy facility for cancer treatment.
In addition it is planned to have a talk given by a former particle physicist now running a company.
