An incomparable, historic, turn-of-the-century ambience characterises the Restaurant Safranzunft in the centre of the Old Town. Its roots refer to the medieval spice traders' guild, which still has strong connections to the restaurant. The restaurant has also been awarded "Historical Restaurant 2008" by the ICOMOS Foundation.
