Welcome to the webpage of the TAN 27 conference!
TAN 27, to be held in Switzerland in 2027, is the 8th in the series of international conferences dedicated to recent achievements and developments in experimental and theoretical chemistry and physics of transactinide elements. The scientific program will cover experimental and theoretical aspects of the synthesis of superheavy elements, nuclear reactions, nuclear structure, chemistry, atomic properties, and related topics.
We warmly invite all our colleagues from around the world to join us in Switzerland. The location provides an excellent setting to bring together this truly international community in an open and inclusive atmosphere, facilitating broad participation and enabling discussions on future experiments and collaborations across the field.
The TAN 27 is organized by the Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI), ETH Zurich, and the University of Bern.
