SDSC Workshop: Enhancing the capabilities of Large Scale Infrastructures with data science.

The Swiss Data Science Center (SDSC), as part of its mission to advance data science and its adoption across different domains and scientific disciplines, is organizing a workshop to engage with the community in a discussion on current needs, limitations, and opportunities for data science towards advancing the operations and scientific outcomes coming from Large-Scale research Infrastructures (LSI). This meeting is organized within the context of the development of the LSI vertical (specialization area) of the SDSC. Therefore, we would like to bring the community together to share their experiences, expertise, and needs and put these into the perspective of what the SDSC can offer in terms of data management, software engineering, data science and AI. The objective of the workshop is to define a roadmap where the SDSC and part of the LSI community would engage and work together on a joint effort towards advancing current capabilities of LSI with data science.
