On Friday afternoon, 29 November 2019, we will organize an optional tour to the High-intensity proton accelerator (HIPA), the Swiss Spallation Neutron Source (SINQ), the Proton therapy (PROSCAN), and the Swiss Light Source (SLS).
Tentative programme:
14.30 h Introduction to the PSI Large Research Facilities (Dr. Joachim Grillenberger)
14.50 h Split up into groups and Start of PSI Facility Tour
16.30 h End of PSI Facility Tour
Note: You may store your luggage at PSI.
